The NFL has released the league-wide schedule on Wednesday evening and it has Eagles fans salivating. With only one Monday Night Football game, there aren’t many “short weeks”. And the team will do very traveling.  They currently have the 12th ranked schedule which is an improvement following last season when they had the toughest one. So here, here we go…the way too early win/loss picks:

Week 1 vs GB Packers (Brazil)

These international games are usually pretty close and are unpredictable. I’m actually not feeling good about this one. Not that the Green Bay Packers are a better team, but just that it’s an unfamiliar circumstance. LOSS

Week 2 vs Atlanta (MNF)

We all know what Kirk Cousins does in prime time. WIN

Week 3 at New Orleans

The Saints are still finding their way and the Eagles start to find a groove. WIN

Week 4 at TB

The Eagles get their revenge on the Wild Card loss last year, and easily. WIN

Week 5 BYE

Week 6 at Cleveland

This is an up and coming team, but the Eagles sneak out the win. WIN

Week 7 at NY Giants

Saquon returns to Giants Stadium and makes them pay for not…well, paying him. WIN

Week 8 at Cincinnati

This one feels like a loss. An AFC opponent that the Eagles don’t know well..plus they have a killer offense. LOSS

Week 9 vs Jacksonville

Sorry Dougie P, your return to Philly is soured as your quarterback is severely overrated. WIN

Week 10 at Dallas

The Cowboys always fare well against the Birds in the regular season..they repeat that here. LOSS

Week 11 vs Washington (TNF)

Who is the Commanders QB?  WIN

Week 12 at LA Rams  (SNF)

Last year, the Eagles got a nice win against them, but this year the Rams get revenge . LOSS

Week 13 at Baltimore

They won’t lose back-to-back and sneak by the Ravens in a hard fought game, worst case you flip flop this and the Rams game. WIN

Week 14 vs Carolina

Yeah, easy win. The Panthers stink. WIN

Week 15 vs Pittsburgh

The Steelers are hoping Russell Wilson and Justin Fields will get them out of quarterback Hell, but overall, they will still be a borderline playoff team. The Eagles have done well against them in the regular season as of late. WIN

Week 16 at Washington

Again, who is the Commanders quarterback? WIN

Week 17 vs Dallas

The Eagles return the favor from earlier in the season and get a win here at home. WIN

Week 18 at NY Giants

By this point the Giants are looking at another early draft pick and had nothing at all to play for. WIN

That’s 13-4 if you’re keeping score at home, good enough for one of the top two spots in the NFC, erasing the memories of the disaster of last year. Let’s go Birds!
