The top rounds of the draft came with the phenomenal additions to our defensive line drafted from Georgia ,with Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith in the 1st round, which in my opinion was the steal of the draft.  (Edit: They have since added another Bulldog in CB Ringo in the fourth round.) Now let’s have a look at what the fans really wanted but it didn’t happen..

The top ranked RB Bijan Robinson went to Atlanta so that made the Eagles decision easier. Although we do currently have a solid running back committee, let’s look at Trey Sermon. Last season he couldn’t get much playing time but I do believe this season we will see more of him.

At 6 ft, 215lbs, the kid is an absolute beast and he runs angry. Let’s also not forget we also added Rashard Penny who has had trouble staying healthy to go along with Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell. Sermon is going to get opportunities this season but it’s completely up to him if he can make the best of those chances that are given to him and I do believe he will.
