Let’s breakdown what happened last night during the Philadelphia union and New York City football club. It went as planned as everyone predicted the game to have a slow start. NYFC Scored after halftime 60.1 mins into the game, but they weren’t able to score after that. The Philadelphia Union were proudly defending home field and trying to find a way to score themselves.
In the second half, they responded. At the 70.1 minute mark, the Union scored a goal to tie it up 1-1. At 75.8 mins, the Philadelphia Union struck again making it 2-1. After trading yellow cards, at the 81.8 minute mark the Union capped off the win by adding a third goal and clinching a trip to the MLS Cup for the 1st time in franchise history. They will be facing LAFC Saturday November 5th starting at 4pm.
