After a completely dominating performance last week in Washington, the Eagles come back home to host Dougie P and the Jacksonville Jaguars. There should definitely be some kind of tribute for the only coach in Eagles history to bring us a super bowl, I mean there’s a frigging statue of the guy lol. After all that though it’s time to get to business.
The Jaguars have looked much better the beginning of the season than last year. They have formidable defensive line and Trevor Lawrence seems to be getting better and better. The Eagles however are starting to look an upper echelon team in the league, think it’s gonna be interesting to see how the defense confuses the young QB. The weather may not be great which may turn this into a running game, and the Eagles might have best rushing attack in the NFL. I think this is an entertaining game but you see clearly who the better team is. Eagles 27, Jaguars 21

The Eagles are now the last of the undefeated teams and the question is, will they remain that way after the game against the Jags? For a second week in a row the Eagles will see a familiar face and again one that played a role in their Superbowl win a few years ago. Coach Doug Pederson should get a nice ovation from the Linc crowd, and I think he will.
The last 2 years the Jags have picked 1st overall, meaning that they have been really bad. One that netted them highly touted sunshine QB Trevor Lawrence. They spent some money on free agency, one being new WR Christian Kirk and so far, that has been working out pretty well. This reminds me of week one’s opponent, the Lions in that they are seen as a more improved team this year. Like the Lions though, I don’t think improved means good. So really the two differences between this game and the one against the Lions is that the Eagles are home for this one, and that it’s later in the season where they are now more in midseason form. Could the Eagles lose, sure they are highly unlikely to go 17-0 and there is bound to be a clunker and a game with bad calls or where the ball doesn’t bounce their way. It’s hard to predict when that will occur and as such, I am picking the Eagles to win another game by double digits, with the defense again playing well and the pass rush being strong again. We will say Eagles 30 Jags 17.

With week 4 of this absolutely crazy NFL season here, the Jaguars come to the South Philadelphia Gridiron to take on the last undefeated team in the league. The Jaguars are playing well under new head coach Doug Pederson and Trevor Lawrence is starting to look worthy of his draft position. The defense is much improved. With that being said, the Eagles improvements are much better than we all expected. The weather is supposed to create a soupy mess which makes me think it will be a ground game attack. Miles Sanders is the guy we need to see do his thing as one of the Eagles stars and hopefully he can handle it if needed. I believe he can behind the best offensive line in the league. As the other guys mentioned, this could be an emotional game with Doug Pederson making his return to Philly, and I expect it to play a part in the early going of this game. I think the Eagles get off to a slow start, mainly the defense, but they adjust and apply pressure to Trevor Lawrence.
Christian Kirk is off to a nice start, but I don’t see him shredding this secondary. James Robinson is also starting strong, but the Eagles defense, aside from a few big runs, have been solid against the run this season. It’s going to be an uphill challenge for the Jaguars to keep up with the Eagles offensive attack, which is where I see the difference in the game. Jalen Hurts has been electric, but this week the team will come alive in the second half as opposed to the past few weeks and pull this one out late in the 3rd quarter. Eagles 31, Jaguars 16
